New year, fresh start ...
this year we were given a few options when it came to our coursework.
a documentary, short film, or a music video.
I decided to go for a music video!
Where do I start?
Now that I know what I want to do I need to have a vague idea of what type of music I want to consider...
So I made a playlist on Spotify to help me out ...
as we might have understood, I will be going for a French song :)
after adding more and more music, listening to the each lyrics in detail and establishing if I wanted a male or female artist I decided to focus on one artist in particular...
I particularly this one artist for many reasons, I really like her style of music and the fact she writes her songs herself making it more personal. I would say that the big majority of her music would be considered pop music.
this being said she is also a more low key artist which is quite nice as her songs don't have a set "iconic" music video like some songs do. for example "dark horse" by Katy Perry.
and here we are! I finally set my mind on one of her songs called "Perdus" ("Lost")
I would consider this song being in the genre of Pop R&B
